Creative direction | design
As the art director for rap artist Luke Julien, I was responsible for creating and managing the visual identity of the "Thank You, Ima Holla Tour," a series of intimate live performances at record shops and skate shops across New Orleans. My role encompassed a wide range of creative tasks, including:
Graphic Design: I designed a collection of concert posters tailored for both print and social media to promote the tour.
Merchandise Design: I conceptualized and created exclusive artist merchandise, such as t-shirts, to complement the tour’s branding.
Photography: I documented the tour as the lead photographer, capturing live performances, behind-the-scenes moments, and audience interactions.
Videography: I filmed key moments of the performances and backstage content to create promotional and archival materials.
Stage Setup: I contributed to the visual setup of each stage, ensuring alignment with the tour’s aesthetic vision.
Through these contributions, I aimed to craft an immersive and cohesive visual experience that elevated Luke Julien’s artistic expression and engaged his audience. This case study showcases the multidisciplinary approach I applied to art direction, merging design, photography, and branding to bring the "Thank You, Ima Holla Tour" to life.
